April showers bring May flowers .... how true. I left for my birthday cruise April 6th,
the weather was relatively cold, the trees barren, and almost no flowers .... as God has ordained it from the beginning .... there is a cycle .... so when I returned on May 7th, lo and behold, the trees were covered with beautiful leaves .... and flowers growing everywhere. What a beautiful sight.
Since I was a little girl, I have suffered with hay fever .... so upon returning, with all of the new growth .... leaves and flowers, I was bothered with the hay fever / sinus and was miserable for about 10 days .... using boxes of Kleenex. However, it passed and now I'm fine.

I want to thank you for being a special part of this ministry. I know you pray .... and I am grateful for those prayers. Many of you feel called to work together with me in the ministry God has called me to. Remember what you give is planted in good ground. Nearly 35 years ago, I was called into full-time ministry .... and what a life, traveling around the world .... with the Good News. Many have said that I have the gift of encouragement .... I'm grateful for that gift. It is something that I am told as folk are leaving a place where I have ministered. What an assignment I've been given.
Acts 20:24 - But life (Lillie's life) is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me, telling others the Good News about God's mighty kindness and love.
Often I am asked: "Where are you going to retire?" My answer, "Never .... I don't think that we should retire .... and coast on to Heaven." So, I will be working until I can work no longer. Then I will have no regrets. Here is one of my favorite verses ....
Galatians 6:9 - Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
This was all made very clear as I heard one of the legends of Southern Gospel Music .... who has been traveling 70 years .... I was at one of her retirement concerts. What a special lady, Lily Fern Weatherford is to me .... I love her!

Please let me encourage you in what God has asked you to do .... He doesn't always call the qualified .... but He does qualify the called .... isn't it wonderful how He uses "ORDINARY PEOPLE."
One of my favorite type programs is the old-fashioned hymn sing which I did recently and as always, folk were blessed as they were able to sing along with songs they grew up singing .... but are unable to hear on a regular basis in their church.

Returning from Nashville....my seat mate was a lovely lady. As we began to talk....
I learned she is the mother of that heroic young lady who was killed for her faith in Jesus by one of the Columbine shooters. What an interesting flight hearing about Rachel Joy Scott .... I'm certain you followed the news and was moved as she spoke out for Jesus. This Mom travels with a dynamic message about her daughter.

If you think I'm wearing an interesting hat, actually, it is two hats. It's very easy to place one on top of the other.
What exciting doors God opens for me to minister to Seniors as I travel. I love to encourage them so that they will know they are not forgotten and that there is so much they can do in the body of Christ.
It was wonderful to spend time with my long-time friend, Mary Ellen....she has been my seamstress for over 40 years. I drove up to be with her as she is having some physical challenges. Please help me pray for her. We were all part of that great church in San Jose, Cathedral of Faith....Pastor Kenny Foreman. Here's a cute picture with another long time friend.

Do you sense in your spirit that Jesus is returning for us soon? I certainly do and I want to be ready. The only requirement for us to enter the place that He has gone away to prepare, is that we know Him as our Lord and Savior, have asked forgiveness for our sins, and believe in His death, burial and resurrection.
We will be rewarded by what we do in His name and for Him. Someone once said "Only one life will soon be passed .... and only what's done for Christ will last." So what is in your investment portfolio in Heaven? Will you hear "Well Done."
John 9:4 - I must work the works of Him that sent me while it is day, when it is night, no man can work.
